Adding Warranty Info

When adding or editing a tool, enter the Warranty Expiry date. This is the date the manufacturer’s warranty ends.

Warranty Status Indicators

On the tool detail page, warranty status is shown visually:

• Green date — warranty is active
• Red date with warning icon — warranty has expired

The Analytics dashboard also shows a Warranty Tracker with counts of active, expiring (within 30 days), and expired warranties across your entire collection.

• Know exactly when coverage ends before making repair-or-replace decisions
• File warranty claims before it’s too late
• Plan tool replacement timing around warranty expiration
